三部曲最猛的一集，开头演少年 indiana jones的美少年是谁我就不说了！~
一部并不正统的美国西部片，或者说西部只是一个外壳，借西部元素表达种族观念。故事脉络与人物图谱在罗伯特·奥特曼电影里算少的，前半段过于散漫和随意，一度无法入戏，后来收拢了。电影冒业界之大不不韪，公然挑战和戏谑历来好莱坞拍摄西部片的倾向性错误，不乏讽刺和黑色幽默，例如印第安首领逃跑的段落以及总统敷衍的说辞等。领土扩张的血泪史，践踏印第安文明的野蛮行径都被主流的歌颂笔调所掩盖，刽子手成了先驱者，屠杀和迫害成了信念和力量，被书写和记录着。电影里印第安人的处境相当尴尬，一些细节捕捉极为精准，白人和印第安人的意识形态、思想观念、种族文化碰撞出扭曲异化的精神状态。西部先驱们的狂野、恣意个性建立在文化入侵、精神倾轧基础之上，以此获得的自信与张扬太过讽刺。那段历史也变成了真的“历史”，供人无限解读、狂欢。
